Murder Mystery Dinner

Friday and Saturday, March 24 and 25
Time: Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.; Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m.

Do you like solving crimes? Put your skills to the test for an evening filled with food, fun, and mystery! The City, Turning Point Beer, and The Murder Mystery Company are teaming up to host the murder mystery dinner, “Midnight at the Masquerade.” Tickets include a full course meal and two drinks. Tickets are $35 for individuals over 21, and $25 for under 21. Please note, this event is for ages 13 and over.

Cops and Canines 5K & 1 Mile Mutt Strut

Saturday, March 25

Grab the pups! The Bedford Police Department is hosting its inaugural Cops and Canines 5K and 1 mile Mutt Strut, benefitting the BPD Benevolent Fund. The event will include a 5K route that will wrap around nearby neighborhoods, as well as a 1 mile Mutt Strutt, where participants will run/walk two laps around the lake within the park with their dog(s). Goat Yoga

Saturday, March 25

It's baaaaaack! Bring a mat and get your zen on while goats graze and jump around (or on!) you. Registration is required in advance, and tickets can be purchased online. Tickets are $32 for adults and $20 for ages 5-12.

Spring Fling Family Dance

Saturday, March 25
Time: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The Bedford Center YMCA, 2801 Forest Ridge Dr.
Cost: $12 per person, register online

Get ready to sway the night away! This is a family dance for children and an important adult role model in their life to enjoy a night out on the dance floor. Tickets include dancing, refreshments, a photo booth, and more.

Easter Bunny Brunch

Saturday, April 1
Time: Three sessions available between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., each session is an hour and a half
Old Bedford School, 2400 School Lane
Cost: $5 per person (2 and under are free), pre-registration is required

Hop on over to Old Bedford School for a brunch with the Easter Bunny. Tickets must be purchased in advance and include a light brunch and crafts, as well as a meet and greet and photo booth with the Bunny.

"Electric!" Light Art Exhibit

Saturday, April 8
Time: 8 to 10 p.m.
Generations Park at Boys Ranch, 2801 Forest Ridge Dr.
Cost: FREE, all ages welcome

The City is teaming up with the University of North Texas to host a light art exhibit where Generations Park will be transformed into a glowing outdoor gallery with more than 20 sculptures, all using light as their medium. 

This exhibit is possible thanks to sculpture students and the “Art in Public” class at UNT, led by Professor Alicia Eggert, an internationally renowned interdisciplinary artist. In addition to the exhibit, DJ Phonixx will provide tunes for the evening and food trucks will be on-site.

Community Yard Sale

Friday, April 14
Time: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Old Bedford School, 2400 School Lane
Registration: $20 per spot, or $15 per spot for Senior Center Members

Come shop the Community Yard Sale hosted by the Bedford Senior Center and take home some hidden treasures. Spaces are available for community and Senior Center members to sell their items. Vendors must register in person at Old Bedford School.

Clean Up Bedford Day

Saturday, April 15
Time: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Meet in the Bedford Library parking lot, 2424 Forest Ridge Dr. 

Families, groups, and citizens of all ages are invited to volunteer to pick up litter across the City. Visit the event webpage to learn more and register online.

Chunk Your Junk - Bulk Waste Collection

Saturday, April 15
Time: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Meadow Park, 3200 Meadow Park Dr. 

Dispose of unwanted items from your home, garage, and yard, such as broken furniture or decorations that do not fit into the residential trash container. DFW Reclaimers will also be on-site accepting electronic waste materials. Visit the event webpage for additional information on acceptable items, an event map, and more.

Earth Day Family Campout

Saturday, April 22
Time: 5 p.m. on Saturday to 7 a.m. on Sunday
Old Bedford School, 2400 School Lane

Register for Campout- $10 per person (under 2 is free)
Register for Evening Activities ONLY - $7 per person

Join us for a fun filled evening under the stars. Bring the family and a tent to camp. Activities will include a scavenger hunt, s’mores, games, outdoor movie, star gazing, and more! Every family member attending must register, and anyone under 2 is free.

North Texas Pacific Islander Festival

Saturday, April 29
Time: 12 to 8 p.m.

Join the City, NĀKUMU, and Pineapple Grill for the North Texas Pacific Islander Festival! The day will include food trucks, live entertainment, music, craft vendors, giveaways, a kids craft area, and much more. This event is free to attend. View the entertainment lineup

Art at the Park

Saturday, May 13
Time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Generations Park at Boys Ranch, 2801 Forest Ridge Dr.

The festival will feature live performances, live music, art vendors, food trucks, a community art project, alcohol for purchase, and more. As part of the festival, we are currently looking for art vendors to sell or exhibit their work. Visit the event webpage for additional information.
