    Calling all local self-published authors and those aspiring to be so! On Sunday, March 27, the Library is hosting its first-ever Local Author Showcase. Not only will local authors be able to sign and sell their books, but there will also be an opportunity to participate in a roundtable discussion of writing, marketing, and publishing issues for writers at any stage. | If you're already published and have books to sign and sell, complete the application form by January 31: https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/T624qC0fhWUM | The event organizer will be in contact with all approved authors to confirm further details.   2. Senior "Mind Fit" Seminar

    Mind Fit is an educational series based on cognitive therapeutic methods that touch on the five cognitive domains. It is designed to promote brain health and improve quality of life through cognitively stimulating activities. This is a one class seminar that will be offered on Monday, January 17 and 31. This instructor led class is a very popular so please sign up ahead of time. You will use things like books, games and puzzles for these exercises. Our instructor will be Will Frederick from Home Care Assistance. This seminar promises to be fun and full of great exercises!

    Mahjong or mah-jongg is a tile-based game that was developed in the 19th century in China and has spread throughout the world since the early 20th century. It is commonly played by four players. This group will teach if you dont know how. Come on in and learn a new game!
