  1. Chunk Your Junk - Bulk Waste Collection

    April 17, 2021, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Meadow Park Athletic Complex

    Dispose of unwanted items from homes, garages, and yards, such as broken furniture or odds and ends that do not fit into the residential trash container. NO HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE (HHW) will be accepted at this event, and no contractors or construction debris unless is it Residential household construction. Bedford residents should bring proof of residency in the form of a recent water bill or driver’s license. Old and used TIRES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Visit the following link to find proper tire disposal locations. http://www.timetorecycle.com DFW Reclaimers will also be there to accept all Electronic Waste materials.   2. Clean Up Bedford Day 2021

    Individuals and Groups sign up at https://www.bedfordtx.gov/.../Volunteer-Application-47. Keep Bedford Beautiful invites the community to attend Clean Up Bedford Day from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Volunteers of all ages are invited to participate. Keep Bedford Beautiful will provide supplies such as litter pickers, trash and recycle bags and gloves. Water and snacks will be provided as well. Meet at location TBD at 9:00 a.m. to pick up supplies and location assignments. Specific areas targeted for cleaning are major streets, parks, parking lots, City Hall, the Police and Fire Stations, as well as the Post Offices, Library, Old Bedford School and other public areas.
