The moment you’ve all been waiting for... the Central Park playground is OPEN!
The new playground equipment, which is accessible to people of all abilities, includes a poured-in-place rubberized surface, ramps with access to ADA-compliant amenities, swing set with two additional ADA swings, four slides, and a merry-go-round. The playground is located at 1201 Central Drive.
Now folks, we know it’s hot out. We know playground equipment can get hot during the Texas summer. If you’re going to venture on over to any playground in Bedford, please use caution, supervise your child while on the playground, check the temperature of the equipment beforehand, and visit either in the early morning hours, evenings, or on overcast and cooler days.
