Celebrate Independence Day with the City of Bedford from 5 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4 at Generations Park at Boys Ranch, 2801 Forest Ridge Dr. Bedford 4thFest will feature free live music by The Inspiration Band, a kid’s zone, food trucks, and a spectacular fireworks show when the sun goes down.

Admission to 4thFest is FREE. Feel free to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and coolers. No canopies or glass containers are permitted.

The fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m. The fireworks will be shot off from within Generations Park at Boys Ranch. Similar to previous years, the City will continue to shoot the fireworks 200-feet higher so residents can view them from further away.

Parking for 4thFest

There will be NO on-site parking at Generations Park. Handicap parking spaces will be available on-site at The Bedford Center YMCA (2801 Forest Ridge Dr.). A handicap placard will need to be visible in order to park here.

Parking will be available for the general public at the Bedford Library (2424 Forest Ridge Dr.), Old Bedford School (2400 School Lane), City Hall buildings, and in the grass lot across from Bedford City Hall, Building C (1805 L. Don Dodson Dr.). View a parking map.

If you will be using Uber, Lyft, or other ride share app driver, please have them drop you off and pick you up at 1725 Bedford Rd. (directly in front of the Bedford Library and Old Bedford School) to avoid any road closures and pedestrians. The City will have Ride Share App signage in place.

There will be NO shuttle service available. As with every year, we ask to respect all traffic laws (which will be strictly enforced) and please be considerate to the neighborhoods adjacent to the park when finding parking locations for the event. Please remember, private fireworks are also prohibited in the City of Bedford.

Additional information on the event, parking, food trucks, and road closures is available at www.bedfordtx.gov/4thfest.
