Bedford Christmas Tree lit up with text saying "December Lineup"

The holiday season has arrived in Bedford! We’re kicking off the most wonderful time of the year with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 3 at Old Bedford School (2400 School Lane).

Mark your calendars for all of these jolly events in December:

  • Christmas Tree Lighting (December 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Old Bedford School): This festive evening will include a holiday market with 30+ vendors, HEB ISD musical performances, children’s activity area, photos with Santa, food trucks, and the lighting of the Bedford tree at 6:20 p.m.
  • Pickle Party (December 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Old Bedford School): It’s a pretty big dill. The night includes a special pickle hunt for those 21+, free burgers for the first 400 people from In-N-Out Burger, a self-pour mobile taproom with 16 taps (local craft beer, wine, cider, and seltzer), polka music, the crowning of a Pickle Prince and Princess, and more!
  • Grandparents Nutcracker Tea (December 10 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Old Bedford School): For grandparents, aunts, uncles, parents, or guardians! The afternoon tea includes food and drinks, a photo booth, craft, and showing of Disney’s “Fantasia Nutcracker Suite” (Rated G). Registration is required.
  • Holiday Goat Yoga (December 11 at 11 a.m. at Old Bedford School): Get your holiday yoga on while a tribe of goats in holly jolly outfits graze and jump around (or on) you! Space is limited and tickets are $32. Register online.
  • Holiday Outdoor Movie (December 14 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Old Bedford School): Don’t wallow in self pity! Join us for a viewing of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” (2000 version, Rated PG) under the Christmas lights. Vendors will be on-site with snacks, drinks, and popcorn.
  • Holiday Sip and Sketch (December 15 at 6 p.m. at Turning Point Beer): Holiday inspired-still lifes will be set up around the brewery for artists to sketch. Tickets are $15 (for 21+) and $6 (for non-drinkers) and includes a sketch book, drawing pencil, goodie bag, and two drink tickets. Register online.
