Calling all artists! The City is looking for a design that will be made into a mural inside the Bedford Fire Department’s training room at Fire Station No. 1. Designs should be based upon the life and work of a firefighter, which could include their role in community engagement, fire education, saving lives, or emergency medical care. Designs should also integrate branding and logos specific to the Bedford Fire Department.

The selected artist will get to work closely with the BFD and staff to develop a piece of art that truly captures the identity and vision of the department. Submissions are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, June 17. For additional information on the project, dimensions, budget, and submission details, visit
