The wait is over - Harwood Road is getting its long-awaited makeover! Beginning the week of April 25, crews will start milling operations (taking off the top layer of the roadway) in sections along Harwood Road, beginning at the Hurst city limit and working east. Crews will be milling the road in the following sections:
- Hurst City Limits to Brown Trail (starting week of April 25)
- Brown Trail to Shady Grove Dr.
- Shady Grove Dr. to Forest Ridge Dr.
- Forest Ridge Dr. to Oak Valley Dr.
Once all lanes are milled, Tarrant County will then repave Harwood Road with fresh asphalt beginning the week of May 9 (weather permitting). Throughout the project, there will be various lane closures along Harwood. If possible, drivers should take an alternative route to avoid delays.
