Anyone wishing to request a new streetlight be installed in their neighborhood may now complete the City’s new online Streetlight Request form and download the Streetlight Petition form. The Streetlight Petition form must be signed and approved by at least 75 percent of property owners within 200 feet of the proposed location of the requested streetlight.
Once the City receives all completed documents, Public Works staff will review and respond to the request within 30 days. Requested lights that meet the standards of the City’s Subdivision Regulations Ordinance and have appropriate facilities and locations available will be installed at the City’s expense.
