text saying AT&T Begins Construction for Installing Fiber Throughout City with a map

AT&T recently began installing fiber in certain areas throughout Bedford, as part of their five-year plan to have the entire city connected to their fiber network. Once the new service is operational, it will provide data transfer rates as fast as 1 gig for residential and business AT&T customers.

The highlighted areas on the map will receive AT&T fiber service in 2021, including portions of the following neighborhoods:

  • Bluebonnet/Cheek Sparger
  • Oak Valley
  • Woodhill Estates
  • Saxon/Norman/Arthurs Circle
  • Bell Manor
  • Kelmont Park
  • Brookhollow
  • Forest Ridge
  • Park Place Avenue

AT&T will release additional construction areas for 2022 once their 2021 areas are complete, which the City will continue to share on communication channels. Contractors are working with neighborhoods to minimize disruptions while upgrading fiber services. For more information, please visit or call the AT&T Fiber Resident Hotline at 972-390-8478.
