During June and July, the City of Bedford Municipal Court is accepting a donation of $100 in school supplies as an alternative to help clear outstanding warrants. Beginning Tuesday, June 1, defendants can call Bedford Municipal Court at 817-952-2152 to obtain a list of acceptable school supplies. In exchange for a donation of $100 in school supplies, Municipal Court will give a $100 credit toward the defendant’s balance and removal of warrant status with 30 days to make their next payment.
Donations must be dropped off at Municipal Court, 2000 Forest Ridge Dr., between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. All donations must be put in a school backpack, which is included in the approved supply list, and will only be accepted with a receipt. All supplies will be donated to HEB ISD schools located within Bedford. This temporary alternative ends on Saturday, July 31. For additional information, please call 817-952-2152.
