Water Billing Update

Due to the adversity caused by COVID-19 and recent winter storm, the City of Bedford halted all water billing late fees and terminations (except in certain circumstances). Please note, beginning May 1, instead of receiving a reminder letter for a past due amount, the City will send a termination notice. The termination notice gives a customer 10 days to pay the past due amount or to contact Customer Service to make payment arrangements. In addition, a 10 percent penalty fee will be accessed on any amount past due beginning Friday, May 28.
