The City of Bedford has received several questions regarding the water situation at the Canopy on Central Apartment Complex. City staff has been in contact with Canopy’s management team and they reported they have been working around the clock since Thursday to restore water service to their residents.
However, there are several issues they must resolve before they are able to that. At request of Canopy management, the City has temporarily turned off water service so repairs can be made without flooding their buildings.
UPDATE (1:30 p.m., February 22): The City met with Canopy's management team. The complex is taking steps to reach the goal of having everything fixed by Wednesday, February 24. The City's Public Works staff has set up two watering stations for Canopy residents to fill up water jugs to use for their needs.
