Yesterday, Bedford Police, along with the U.S. Marshals, arrested the male suspect wanted in connection to the August 1, 2020 murder of a 17-year-old female, who was killed in a vehicle parked at the CVS Pharmacy, located at 601 N. Industrial Blvd. Since the suspect was a juvenile at the time of the crime, his identity cannot be released.

The suspect was located in Groesbeck, Texas and was charged with capital murder. This arrest was made thanks to the work of Bedford Detectives, who worked diligently to locate him. He is currently being held at the Tarrant County Juvenile Detention Center.

On August 1, the suspect, the victim, and her female friend met in a car to purchase THC vape cartridges. Shortly after the suspect got in the car, an argument ensued. The suspect shot the victim in the upper torso, who died after being rushed to the hospital.
