Beautification Commission

  1. FREE Landfill Trash Dumping Days (Bedford Residents Only)

    September 28, 2019, 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM @ Republic Waste Services of TX, Ltd. dba Arlington Landfill

    Bedford residents may visit the Arlington Landfill on the fourth Saturday of every month from February to November to dispose of bulk waste at no charge. No charge service is limited to individual homeowner only, waste delivered in cars or pickups or 8’ long trailers, larger loads or commercial business loads will be charged a fee. Service does not include the disposal of Hazardous Waste. There will be a charge of $25 per E-Waste item (TV’s, Computers, printers, DVD players, etc.)

  2. Crud Cruiser: Household Hazardous Waste & E-Waste Disposal

    Dispose of Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Waste properly. Crud Cruiser mobile collection trailers come to Bedford to collect household hazardous waste, however, the capacity of the Crud Cruiser is limited, so events may end earlier than advertised. Events may also be canceled in the event of rain. In either case, please do not leave household hazardous waste and chemicals in the parking lot. What’s Accepted: • Automotive fluids • Batteries • Cleaners & Chemicals • Cooking oil • Lawn/Garden Chemicals • Pool Chemicals • Light Bulbs • Paint & Painting Supplies What’s NOT Accepted: • Ammunition & Explosives • Appliances & Electronics • Building Materials • Bulk Trash & Yard Waste • Butane/Propane Cylinders • Medicines & Medical Waste • Tires • Asbestos/PCBs/Radioactive Items These events are for Bedford residents only. Residents of other cities will be turned away. Commercial, business or industrial waste cannot be accepted under Texas regulations.
