Beautification Commission

  1. FREE Landfill Trash Dumping Days (Bedford Residents Only)

    July 27, 2019, 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM @ Republic Waste Services of TX, Ltd. dba Arlington Landfill

    Bedford residents may visit the Arlington Landfill on the fourth Saturday of every month from February to November to dispose of bulk waste at no charge. No charge service is limited to individual homeowner only, waste delivered in cars or pickups or 8’ long trailers, larger loads or commercial business loads will be charged a fee. Service does not include the disposal of Hazardous Waste. There will be a charge of $25 per E-Waste item (TV’s, Computers, printers, DVD players, etc.)

About the instructor: Angela Vangalis started studying calligraphy at the age of 17 and has been hand lettering ever since. She has a BA in Art and works as a Visual Artist in both web and print mediums. Angie has hosted Legacies, two International Lettering Arts Conferences in Dallas, TX. She has had the opportunity to study with the best scribes in the world over the past 20 years. Angie's work appears more than 10 books on the subject of Zentangle and she continues to search for new, inventive types of lettering.
