Dog Days of Summer

The “Dog Days of Summer” is a string of canine-related events that wrap up the summer season. All of our events are about Man’s Best Friend. However, we encourage everyone to come out, whether you have a dog or not! Our events are free of charge, but we may have vendors with products and services for sale. We will have staff at every event to accept donations if you wish to give back. Donations will benefit the Bedford Bark Park.

Flick with Fido (Friday, July 27, 7:45 p.m.)

Our kick-off event will feature a drive-in style movie at the Bedford Bark Park. Be sure to bring out your lawn chairs, families, and furry companions as we watch a pooch-themed film. In-N-Out will be providing food.

*This year’s movie will be Disney’s Bolt

Yappy Hour (Friday, August 10, 7:00 p.m.)

Meet us out at the Bedford Bark Park for an evening of socializing and refreshments. Get to know your fellow dog-loving neighbors, and let the little guys play with some new friends as well.

*Performance by Andrew Sullivan

Woofstock (Friday, August 24, 7:30 p.m.)

Join us for this groovy event at the Bedford Bark Park. You and your companion are invited to this dog-friendly show. Come listen to some great tunes, get some ice-cold refreshments, and take a night to relax on a slow summer evening. In-N-Out will be providing food.

Support Our Parks

A great way to support the parks in Bedford is to purchase a donation brick. These bricks are a great way to commemorate a special occasion, such as a wedding, anniversary, birthday or to memorialize a family member. All proceeds go to the Park Donation Fund to assist with improvements to the Bedford Parks. The bricks are placed around the commemorative dedication monument near the Boys Ranch Lake. For more information or to purchase a brick, visit the city website or contact Eric Valdez at
