Membership
The Community Affairs Commission consists of 12 members as follows:
- 1 Hurst-Euless-Bedford (HEB) Chamber of Commerce member
- 5 Bedford business owners
- 6 Bedford residents
Purpose
The Community Affairs Commission serves as an advisory board and shall provide the City Council with feedback on business and residential concerns. The commission explores issues of public interest as identified and designated by the city council, collect information on these issues and make constructive recommendations to council and staff if any action should be taken by the city to satisfy those issues.
