2017 Water Bill Increase
Effective January 1, 2017, the City of Bedford will adjust its water and sewer rates to account for an increase in the cost of services provided by the Trinity River Authority (TRA). The City relies on TRA to provide wholesale water and sewer services to Bedford residents and businesses. The cost for these services is a rate per 1,000 gallons of water and sewer distributed by the City of Bedford.
Recently, TRA notified the City that it will increase its volume water rate 19.3 cents per 1,000 gallons and its volume sewer rate 12.7 cents per 1,000 gallons.
